Fancy Hen

Fancy Hen makes a cheerful addition to the home. The colourwork design is inspired by patterned ceramic tiles and the flower motif is similar to traditional fairisle designs. You can use Fancy Hen as a cushion or soft toy; or add weights and use as a doorstop or bookend. Finished size 28 cm/11.25” long and 30 cm/12" tall from base to tip of comb. You will need: Two hanks of Dovestone DK, 1 each of MC and CC1, and 10g of CC2. Hen 1 is shown in Parkin (MC) and Filey (CC1). Hen 2 is shown in Yorkstone (MC) and Endeavour (CC1). CC2 for both hens is Bantam. 3mm/US2.5 25cm/10" long dpns or 80cm circular for magic loop; 2.5mm/US 1.5 dpns. Two buttons for eyes, a stitch marker, scrap yarn and toy stuffing.
