This is probably my favorite crocheted dishcloth/washcloth pattern. I love the texture that this stitch creates. It is both practical and pretty. It is made using the Sedge Stitch which uses a combination of double, half double and single crochet stitches. The finished size is about 9 inches square but can easily be adjusted to be larger or smaller.
