Zora Birds

These birds are among the flock flying on my Bird Bolero. These right- and left-facing birds may be sewn together and stuffed to create an amigurumi bird. As with any appliqué, use the yarn and hook combination you prefer. The Zora Birds with wings were made with F/3.75mm hook and two strands of fingering weight held together. Their dimensions are 6”L/15.24 cm beak tip to tail tip x 2.25”H /5.7cm top of head to bottom of belly. They are named for the famed anthropologist and novelist, Zora Neale Hurston.
