Lost & Found

*I was knitting a striped shawl and felt lost as I didn't know what to knit next. I found my way by deciding to turn the shawl into a jacket! This garment begins with a semi-circular top down shawl decorated with stripes and short rows. The ribbed back and garter stitch sides grow from picked up stitches. Two front seams mold the fabric into a convertible garment. Wear the garment upside down for even more drama.* **Finished Measurements** 52" / 132cm chest circumference. Measurements taken after blocking. Sample shown on a 41" / 104cm chest circumference. The jacket is designed in one size to fit loosely or more fitted depending on the wearer's size. **Yarn** Worsted weight **Yardage** Color A - 535yds / 489m Color B - 535yds / 489m Color C - 150yds / 137m Color D - 420yds / 384m **Shown in** Quince & Co. Lark (100% Wool; 134yds / 123m per 50g skein) Color A: Kittywake (semi-circle stripes & short rows) Color B: Honey (semi-circle stripes, back, & I-cord trim) Color C: Iceland (semi-circle stripes) Color D: Kumlien's Gull (fronts) **Needles** 40" US 8 / 5mm circular **Notions** 4 split ring markers, tapestry needle **Gauge** 17 sts & 36 rows = 4" / 10cm in garter stitch **Errata** On pg 5, just before "Edging" section ... "Next Row (RS): Using color C, k to last st while closing the short row gaps, sl1 wyif."
