Fly Fishing Gloves

These tightly knit fingerless gloves were designed for fly fishermen to keep the water out, hands warm, and fingers free. They should be made out of wool so if they do go in the water, they will still keep the hands warm. (The lanolin in the wool also helps them resist getting wet when splashed.) For increases I used M1L and M1R to create tight seams, aiding in warmth and water resistance. Sized to fit most men, they should comfortably fit a wrist size 6.75-8in/17-20cm. They use very little worsted weight yarn (approximately 200 yards) and knit up in just hours (in the round with double pointed needles).
