Beach Bag Waves'n Whale

Easy pattern to a big and colorful beach bag (tote), fun project for beginners who are interested in tapestry crochet. Bottom (diameter): 10.5 in. Height: 17 in. Circumference: 35 in. Strong and sturdy when made of cotton and when holding two strands of the same yarn at the same time. Fairly high consumption of yarn though. I have used almost 800g (300g of main color, 100g each of remaining colors). Possible variations: * lining, zipper, extra pocket for purse, button closure ... * Choose only 2 (of 5) patterns and add longer straps for a handbag. * Work tote without straps but with (drawstring) holes for a gym bag.
