Acht the Octopus

This quick one-skein project makes a great baby shower gift! It makes the most of hand-painted yarn like Seedling. Legs are worked sideways, with clever use of short rows to make life-like tentacles. Reverse stockinette curls back an itself, so no need to sew up the legs. Body is worked in the round from picked-up stitches. Use safety eyes or embroider eyes with scrap yarn. A small amount of fiberfill gives the body form.
