Ray of Hope Star Christmas Ornament

This beautiful lacy star will look perfectly at home as a suncatcher in your window or as an ornament on your Christmas tree. 2 sizes are included in the pattern. The small star is about 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The large star is just over 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide. There is a great variety of Metallic Size 10 crochet threads, which would be a great choice to use for this ornament. 'Plain' crochet thread dressed up with some glitter would be a great finishing touch. Growing up in Bethlehem, PA, USA, one is surrounded by star images everywhere in this 'Christmas City'. This is my second design for this lovely 8 pointed star, expressing the heritage of my home town and the enduring light of my Savior. This Ray of Hope design is also in honor of a close friend and her sisters who are battling together through the most difficult of health situations with grace, faith, and hope.
