The Whimsical Witch-Hat

This fast, easy hat is designed with a floppy brim as well as a flopped-over point. Whip one up for yourself, and another for your favorite pumpkin. (Shown with neckwarmer from the [Witch Warmers][1] pattern.) UPDATE: The hook used on the pictured hat was a new Boye size N hook. It was mis-labeled by the manufacturer! The actual hook size should be L, but if you have a Boye size N, it might be one of the wrong-labeled ones and give you the correct gauge. Please check gauge before proceeding. A note about yarn: this hat turns out best with a stiff worsted weight yarn. Choose one that is not labeled "soft." Red Heart Super Saver acrylic worsted was used for the hat in the photo.
