Flick Knitted Hat Wig, Fun Chemo Cap

Fun and funky knitted hat/wig knitted in Chunky yarn on 6mm needles so that it grows really quickly. You will need about 150gms. t takes me about 3.5 hours from start to finish. I hesitate to put a gauge in as I have knitted it in a rib and I know my knitting is usually on the looser side of gauges. However the gauge given on the yarn I used (King Cole Big Value Chunky - a lovely soft yarn) is 14sts and 20 rows for a 10 x 10cm (4") square, using 6mm needles. I presume this is measured over stocking stitch. Because of the rib, the hat wig is very accommodating and seems to fit all sizes - from my 6 year old granddaughter to my son-in-law who has quite big head!! For fancy dress, halloween, festivals or just for fun. It has been made as a fun chemo wig too. I love creating fun patterns and am always keen to hear how I can improve them.
