How Cold Is It?

Show everybody just how cold you think it really is with these mittens. I also highly recommend them for giving Old Man Winter a discreet middle finger without anyone being the wiser! I developed this pattern using traditional Nordic and Scandinavian knitting techniques, then added my own twist. These are a size women’s medium or a men’s small. There is plenty of room within the mittens to also wear gloves, for those of you who need to double up (which you may, because, ehem, it is cold as fuck out here, am I right?). For larger or smaller mittens, I recommend going up or down in needle size first before subbing out a heavier or lighter yarn weight. Gauge: 33 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch knit in charted pattern.
