Pine Bough Cowl

It's large enough to wrap around your head twice to keep your neck nice and cozy, but it drapes nicely and really shows off the stitch pattern when simply worn down. This cowl pattern calls for four skeins of HiKoo Kenzie in Tekapo (the main color) and three skeins of Kenzie in Seal (the contrasting color). It's worked up in the round and then the ends are grafted together using kitchener stitch. **A note about yardage:** Most knitters should be able to finish the cowl with the number of skeins listed. Colorwork gauge and yardage can vary quite a bit from knitter to knitter, however, and some knitters using HiKoo Kenzie found that they needed an extra skein in one or both colors. Purchasing extra yarn is advised for knitters who plan to swatch or are worried about running out of yarn.
