Sweet and silly owls make a lovely blanket for a special someone. Blanket pictured is baby-sized, but you can make it any size you like! Finished blanket measures 32" X 32" Materials you will need: Medium (4) weight yarn - Please see NOTE on YARN, below. Size I-9 (5.5mm) crochet hook Tapestry needle 18 buttons for eyes (optional) - You may choose to crochet black circles in lieu of buttons for a 'baby safe' blanket. Needle & thread - for sewing buttons to owl eyes NOTE on YARN: A self-striping yarn, Knit Picks Chroma Worsted, was used for the blankets shown. Two balls of "Lollipop" were used for the colorful bits and four balls of "Natural" were used for the white parts. The Lollipop colorway has since been discontinued. Knit Picks has replaced it with "Groovy". Several alternative yarn choices are provided in an additional PDF with this pattern purchase.
