Multidirectional Diagonal Dishcloth

This pattern is also available [as a pdf here][1]. This pattern is an adaptation of the [Multidirectional Diagonal Scarf pattern by Karen Baumer][2]. For fingering weight cotton I increase to 66 sts on size 3 needles (second picture). NOTE: I was reading Cat Bordhi's New Pathways for Sock Knitters (p.11) and learned how to make a smoother SSK. In this cloth pattern after you do the SSK and turn...then knit that first stitch (the loop that was made from doing the SSK ) through the back loop. It really decreases the bump to almost nothing.
