Leafy Baby Blanket

May 2021 update! To celebrate 10 years' anniversary of the pattern, I am publishing the updated version. Hopefully, it will now be much easier to understand and follow. A quick project on larger needles, using two strands of yarn. I was inspired to make it as my good friend was having a baby, and the nursery theme was "In the Woods". It's a lace pattern that uses left and right slanting decreases on both right and wrong side rows. The pattern has both charted and written instructions. The gauge is approximately 1 pattern repeat (15 sts) = 11,5 cm. As this is a blanket, you can easily play with it, making more or less of pattern repeats. I used less than 6 skeins of yarn for mine. **Please note**, if you are knitting English style, you may easily lose yarn overs that are followed by purl stitches. I recommend using stitch markers to separate each lace repeat to make it easier. Translated versions are of the original 2011 pattern, and are also available on my website using the link above.
