The pattern specifies: Bedspread Weight Cotton Thread (size 10): * 80 yards (73 meters) blue * 15 yards (14 meters) white Steel crochet hook size 7 (1.65 mm) or size needed for gauge Sewing needle and thread 3/8" / 9.5 mm buttons - 2 1/8" / 3 mm ribbon - 1 yard / .9 meter The pattern begins on page 14. These booties are pattern #10 in the #3243 book and are the main picture on the front cover.
