Any color/type/size of yarn will work as long as you use a corresponding crochet hook. This pattern is crocheted in continuous rounds. The wings are crocheted into the body but you can sew them on afterwards if you prefer. Use your stitch marker to mark your last stitch in each round. MODS for Flamingo and Mallard Duck are on slide 6.
