Magnolia Cocoon Shrug

The Magnolia Cocoon Shrug has been inspired by Magnolia flowers. The shrug can be worn over any outfit, whether it is pants or pretty summer dresses. It is cropped with a beautiful lacy pattern. The pattern is made using V stitches and shells. The pattern is a 4 row repeat, can be followed easily by a beginner also. This shrug is made in one piece, from a single rectangle, with no shaping. Minimal seaming is required to create armholes for this cardigan jacket. Skill level: Easy, beginner friendly. Sizes: XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). Material Yarn: Any DK weight or weight 3 yarn can be used. Suggested: Stylecraft Special DK, Premier yarns, Bernat softee. Yarn used by me: Nako Cici Bio Shade: 11454. Fiber: 100% Antibacterial acrylic. Amount needed: 189 (202, 240, 255, 292) (307, 355, 372, 389) g or 548 (584, 696, 737, 846) (890, 1028, 1077, 1126) yards. Yardage: 290 yards/ 265 m in 100 g/ 3.5 oz. Hook: 5 mm size crochet hook. I crochet with a tight tension, step down hook size to 4.5mm if needed. Note: For a change in border size/ difference in yarn fiber, more yarn than stated may be needed. Notions: Tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape, stitch markers/ safety pin. *Pattern details: 1) The pattern is written in US crochet terms in ENGLISH.
