This pattern is written in English and uses US crochet terminology with UK terminology given in italics in round brackets ( ) afterward. SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner. This pattern does not teach the basics of crochet. This crochet pattern consists only of written instructions and how-to photos that explain how to crochet an amigurumi kirby kitty. WHAT SKILLS ARE YOU GOING TO NEED: • magic loop; • ch - chain; • st(s) - stitch(es); • sl st - slip stitch; • sc - single crochet (double crochet); • inc - single crochet increase (double crochet increase) - work two sc stitches into the same (one) stitch; • dec - single crochet invisible decrease (double crochet decrease) - work one sc stitch over two stitches; • hdc - half double crochet (half treble crochet); • BLO - crochet in the back loop only. REQUIRED MATERIALS: • Acrylic double knitting yarn (DK or 8-ply) - suggested colors white (approx. 10g), and red (approx. 8g). I used iLauke yarn. You can use any yarn that is comfortable and suitable for you. You can use any colors and combine them as you like; • Black, blue, white and yellow thread for face embroidery; • Crochet hook D/3 (3 mm) or according to the yarn you use; • Stitch marker, scissors, yarn needle; • Polyester fiberfill stuffing.
