It has been fully tested.  **Hood Size Adult:** Width from MR to last row in front 15“. Length from last rnd made in the back, to last row in the front, 22”. **Hood Size Child:** Width from MR to last row in front 13.5“. Length from last rnd made in the back, to last row in the front, 19”. **Gauge for Pattern:**  Double strand with 6.5mm Hook. 5 hdc= 2”. 4 rows= 2” **Things you will need:** Yes this is the full yardage when it is held double strand. • Hook: 6.5mm, Or size needed to obtain gauge • Hook: 5.5mm • Hook: 3mm • Scissors  • Yarn or tapestry needle  • Stitch markers  • Small amount of stuffing • Sewing pins  Optional: Styrofoam head (very useful when sewing pieces on) Optional/Bonus Large Lollipop: Extra Materials you will need: Wooden dowel 28” long & 3/4” diameter, hot glue **The yarn needs to be sturdy**, something equivalent to Caron One Pound or Red Heart Super Saver (**rhss buff fleck is thinner, you may have to use 3 strands**) (Caron One Pound holds shape the best). If you reside outside of the US, look for Aran weight. People have recommended Stylecraft Aran yarn. Adult Hood: Worsted Weight(4), Taupe, Caron One Pound, 760yds. Child Hood: Worsted Weight(4), Taupe, Caron One Pound, 500yds. Lollipop & Cord: Worsted Weight(4), Black & Orange, Crafters Secret, 30yds. Face Stiches: Worsted Weight(4), Off White, Any Brand, Long Strand
