This graphic, bold toque is designed to help you practice your colorwork and experience shaping in pattern. A marvellous architectural dome is created with crown shaping. Main Color (MC): 117 (129, 142, 155, 168) yd/ 107 (118, 130, 142, 154) m Contrast Color (CC): 53 (58, 64, 70, 76) yd/ 48 (53, 59, 64, 69) m Shown here in Neighborhood Fiber Co.Organic Rustic Fingering (100% organic Merino wool; 475 yd [434 m]/4 oz [114 g]): Main Color: Lexington Market, 1 skein; Contrast Color: Roland Park, 1 skein. **Blocked Gauge** Gauge measurement should be taken after blocking. 28 stitches and 32 rounds = 4" (10 cm) in colorwork pattern using larger needle **Needles & Notions** Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge. U.S. size 3 (3.25 mm) and U.S. size 5 (3.75 mm): 16" (40 cm) circular needle and set of double-pointed needles, or preferred small-circumference needle such as a long circular needle for Magic Loop method. Markers (m), tapestry needle, waste yarn, spare 16" (40 cm) circular needle same size or smaller than the smaller needle, and size D (3.25 mm) crochet hook. **Skills** I consider this an intermediate level pattern.
