Crochet hook that fits your yarnI used a G/6 (4 mm) hook. A darning needle A pair of scissors Googly eyes (8-10 mm) in white or Doll Glass Eye Beads. For the whiskers (optional), a strand of white yarn or twine. Good light source: working with black yarn can be difficult if you’re not crocheting in a place with good lighting. Make sure you’re sitting in a well-lit area or have a lamp shining onto your project. You could also test this pattern with a lighter-colored yarn first. **Abbreviations Used In Pattern** MC = Magic Circle ch = chain sc = single crochet hdc = half double crochet sts = stitches sl st = slip stitch st = stitch fo = fasten off New! Just try experimenting with different hook sizes & different weight yarns to get a gauge you are happy with for the project you are working on.
