DeSoto Tee

Craft: Crochet Skill: Intermediate Materials: 845-1800 yds of sport (2) weight yarn, US G/6, 4 mm hook (or hook needed to meet gauge) The DeSoto Tee is that perfect, oversized summer tee that will become your go-to during the warmer months! The stitches used in this tee create such a light, airy top that will work up in no time. This tee is a seamless design - you’ll start by working the panels before joining them for the body. Then the sleeves are worked directly around the arm holes. Before you know it, you’ll have made your new favorite top! Construction You will start by working the back panel from the shoulders down. Once you have completed this panel, you will attach yarn directly to your foundation row and work the left shoulder. Once you have completed the left shoulder, you will again, attach yarn directly to the foundation row and work the right shoulder. You will then work one final row for the right shoulder, move directly into creating the neckline, then join the right shoulder and neckline to the left shoulder. Now, you will work the remainder of the front panel. After completing the front panel, you will join the front and back panels and work the body rounds. When the body is complete, you’ll work the sleeves directly into the armholes. Both the front and back panels are worked flat. The body of the tee is worked in turned rounds.
