ASTEROID BELT Mandala CAL (aka RAINDROPS) This mandala is made in overlay mosaic crochet technique with Front Post Double Crochet stitches, and is worked in rounds from center out. If you are not familiar with this technique, it’s not a problem! You just need to know how to make basic single crochet and double crochet stitches, and you should be able to work this design. This is a CAL pattern - crochet along , the pattern is released in 4 parts on certain dates, you will receive updates in the email with the links to new parts of the pattern. This pattern comes with written instructions, photo-tutorials with diagrams, and full video-tutorials for each round. Pattern release dates: Part 1. Rounds 1-30 - September 16th Part 2. Rounds 31-60 - September 23th Part 3. Rounds 61-80 - September 30th Part 4. Rounds 81-103 – October 7th The pattern will include: * written instructions *photo-tutorial for special stitches *photo-tutorial for each found with chart *video-tutorial for each round Yarn needed: if you are using yarn similar to Twister from Hobbii, you will need 1000 meters for the background and about 900 meters for the pattern and 2.5 mm hook. The size of my sample is 36” fixed on the hoop, the size of your mandala will depend on your yarn, hook and tension. I recommend having the mandala finished before ordering the hoop.
