The lace is very simple, comprised of a 4-row repeat. This top starts at the waist and grows outward forming a short batwing sleeve, all knit in once piece. You'll be able to knit this quickly and with very little yardage. Wear this top out and about for summer, be it on the beach or in town. Look for a yarn that is lace weight and has a very light hand. Cat tail silk has a rustic, more rough texture that is well suited to this pattern.
