Quick and fun scrunchie

“Quick and fun scrunchie” is a ruffled hair accessory that makes any pony tail or bun elegant and chic! It holds hair tight thanks to the hair elastic inside. But beware: this scrunchie is addictive! Once you have made your first project, you will want to make more and more for you and your friends, because, of course, it is a perfect last time gift! “Quick and fun scrunchie” is worked in the round on an hair elastic. You will need: * Cheval Blanc “Alto” (50 g = 105 m/115 yds): a total of approx. 25g = 53 m/58 yds for a project in plain color. For a project in 2 colors: approx. 25 m/28 yds in color 1 and 28m/30 yds in color 2. I used a soft cotton DK weight yarn, and I am so sorry that it is discontinued, but any DK yarn of your choice will do just as well. *For yarn suggestions, please refer to the yarns listed above or to the yarns used by the testers*. * 1 hair elastic, diameter: approx. 4.5 cm (2”), thickness: approx. 2 mm (0.08”). *You can of course use elastics of other sizes: instructions are provided to get a good result too with other sizes, but keep in mind that the amount of yarn needed will differ.* * 1 hook 3.5 (US E) ; * 1 stitch-marker ; * 1 tapestry needle. This project is beginner friendly: only basic crochet skills are needed. Instructions are written in US crochet terms. A chart and a pic are provided to help you with the 3 rds pattern.
