Nasoloda

Nasoloda means *delight* in Ukrainian and this cowl is a pure joy to make to the last stitch. It is worked in a modified version of the linen (seed) stitch – both the main part and the ribbing. Just a few stitches worked in **an unusual way** change the look of this well-known stitch pattern to create an amazing texture and eye-catching colorwork. Experiment with the number of colors used as well as the sequence of the color rows to create a multitude of unique cowls! **MATERIALS** - Yarn: Malabrigo Rios; worsted weight; 210 yards / 192 m per 100 g skein; 100% Superwash Merino Wool - Hook: US size I-9 (5.5 mm) for main part and H-8 (5 mm) for ribbing - Yarn needle to weave in ends **YARDAGE** One skein each in shades 036 Pearl (MC) and 280 Gemini (CC) **GAUGE** 17 sts x 15 rows = 4'' x 4'' (10 cm x 10 cm) in st patt **FINISHED MEASUREMENTS** 25'' (63.5 cm) in circumference, 10½'' (27 cm) tall The pattern is written for one size.
