Swiss Dot Shorties

Swiss Dot fabric always makes me think of summer...fun, floaty material, blowing in the breeze. Shortie socks and the fun dots are the perfect summer knit! The dots are simple wrapped stitches that sit perfectly between contrast purl bands and it is an addictive "one more round" kind of pattern. The pattern looks great on lots of different types of yarn and would be a great scrappy project…Give it a try! Check out my tester’s project pages for inspiration. The sock is knit from the top down with a garter edge heel flap and traditional gusset. I finished it with my version of a rounded toe. Small 56 stitch, (Medium 64 stitch, Large 72 stitch). 7 (8, 9) inches / 18 (20.25, 23) cm,approximate foot circumference. There are video tutorials included in the pattern to show the dots done with or without a cable needle. 50g fingering weight yarn with a 20g contrast colour in fingering weight.
