Blue Arabesque blanket

For the Blue Arabesque blanket the mosaic technique is used. Even though mosaic crochet looks very complicated, it certainly isn't that complicated. Actually, it's a surprisingly easy way to create colorful patterns. A mosaic pattern consists only of single crochets and double crochets. For the border, slip stitches are added. Sounds simple right!? With this mosaic pattern all rows are worked from right to left. And attach a new thread every round. And above all, don't be afraid of all the threads to show up. The pattern clearly describes how to adjust this to any desired size. My blanket is crocheted with Novita 7 Veljestä 7 Brothers and hooksize 4,5 and 5 mm. But can of course be crocheted with any desired yarn.
