Yildiz Pullover

▲ THE DESIGN The Yildiz Pullover is part of a collection of patterns that explore the symbology found in Middle Eastern textile art. It features Turkish star motifs, called Yildiz, that are often found in Persian and Turkish rugs. Although these Yildiz symbols can vary in shape/size, they are invariably used to represent luck and good fortune on these textile pieces. ▲ THE CONSTRUCTION This seamless pullover is knit from the top down and features a rolled neckline, sleeves and hem. After separating for the sleeves the colorwork motif continues onto the body and 3/4 length or short sleeves.
