Desert Home Hat is constructed first by knitting the ribbing then following a chart for the color work and the crown. The hat fits like a standard beanie, neither tight or slouchy. I advise blocking it on a balloon that you blow up to measure 1 inch smaller than the head size you want. Desert Home Hat is knitted in fingering weight yarn that is 100% wool.
