Astrum Sweater

I'm happy to present you one of my most favorite designs, the Astrum sweater! After a long year and several changes, thanks to the effort and patience of my testers who helped me make it better, this little gem is finally ready to be shared with all of you! This sweater is perfect for any occasion and will wrap you up cozy. The sleeves are slightly puffed with a cuff that will fit your wrist perfectly. The knit look gives that extra touch. It’s a #sizeinclusive crochet pattern, from XS to 5XL, with instructions on how to make a longer or shorter sweater if needed. Here are some characteristics of the design and what you will find inside the PDF pattern: - Intermediate beginner crochet pattern, written in US Terms. - Color-coded sizes and step-by-step photos. - The sweater is worked widthwise, from side to side, in four panels (one back panel, one front panel and two sleeve panels). The finishing of the collar is crocheted onto the body once it’s sewn. - The sweater is designed to be worn with 4”-6” (10-15cm) of positive ease. - It’s designed to fit the following bust measurements: XS (28”-30”), S (32”-34”), M (36”-38”), L (40”-42”), XL (44”-46”), 2XL (48”-50”), 3XL (52”-54”), 4XL (56”-58”), 5XL (60”-62”). If you are between sizes, you can choose whether to size up for an oversize look or to size down for a fitted look. - Final bust measurements are: XS (34”), S (38”), M (42”), L (46”), XL (50”), 2XL (54”), 3XL (58”), 4XL (62”), 5XL (66”). - You will need approx. 6 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12) balls of Drops Design’s “Sky” yarn, or approx. 1120 (1240, 1370, 1500, 1650, 1820, 2000, 2200, 2420) yards of any weight 3 / DK / light worsted weight yarn. - It requires a 5.00 mm crochet hook (or size needed to obtain gauge) - There are directions on how to make a longer/shorter sweater. - The sample in the picture is a size S.
