Pebble top

Pebble top is reminiscent of a delicate silk camisole, and the “crispy” yarn adds an elegant drape. Stockinette stitch and a simple shape are combined with a small, crocheted edge, which provides a nice contrast to the stockinette stitch. The top is knitted top down. At the end you make the straps and edges. Only simple crochet stitches have been used, so not much experience is needed to make the small picot edge. Yarnalternative Trio2 is a "crisp" and airy yarn with linen, but the top can also be knitted in Trio1 + Alpaca1. Recommended needles Circular needles 3 mm [US2] 80 cm [32 inches]. Crochet hook 2,5 mm for the edges. Gauge 28 sts x 36 rows in St st = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] on 3 mm [US2] needles. Measured after washing. Construction note The top is knitted top-down in stockinette stitch. Begin by knitting the 4 triangles (2 for the front piece and 2 for the back piece). They are then put on the same circular needle and the body is knitted in the round. It ends at the bottom with a crocheted edge. Finally, crochet straps and edges along the top edge. Fit The bust circumference of the top is intended to be approx. 0-5 cm [0-2 inches] less than your own bust circumference (negative ease 0-5 cm [0-2 inches]). Measure your bust circumference (or the widest part of your torso). If you measure e.g. 92 cm [36 inches], you must subtract 0-5 cm [0- 2 inches] from this measurement to find the suitable circumference of the top. The result is 87-92 cm [34-36 inches]. Therefore choose size M, which has an bust circumference of 91 cm [35,75 inches], this gives a negative ease of 1 cm [0,5 inches].
