Friend to friend is worked bottom up in the round. Decreases help shape to fit the shoulders and neck. A purl column on each side gives the illusion of a seam. I recommend using a yarn that will hold its shape. The Lion Brand acrylic and wool yarn works beautifully. A merino or cashmere would also be lovely. However, superwash yarn grows so it may not be the best choice. Modify this to fit your style and personality!
