Sunflower Egg Collecting Basket

Materials: • Red Heart Super Saver- Bright Yellow (approx. 3oz) • Red Heart Super Saver- Café Latte/Brown (approx. 1oz) • Red Heart Super Saver- Spring Green (approx. 3.5oz) • 4.5mm crochet hook (US 7) • Stitch markers or yarn scraps for marking stitches • Scissors • Yarn needle Note: US terminology used. All rounds are worked continuously, without joining. Abbreviations used: • Sl st = slip stitch • SC = single crochet • HDC = half double crochet • MR = magic ring • BLO = back loop only • Inc = increase • Dec = decrease • YO = yarn over • FO = fasten off Special Stitch: Crab Stitch (aka backwards single crochet) is made by working single crochet stitches to the right of the hook instead of the normal left direction. You will use this stitch for the trim and joining the basket cups together. After attaching your trim color yarn, insert your hook into the next stitch to the RIGHT of the hook, yo, draw up a loop, yo, pull through both loops.
