The intricate-looking pattern is deceptively simple to knit. Only one color is worked per round; no need to carry two strands of yarn at once. Knit at a slightly firmer gauge than the matching hat and cowl—you’ll love the way these mitts hug your hands and keep out the cold. The pattern includes instructions for optional short rows to create a shaped mitt that's longer on the index finger side of the mitt, and shorter on the pinky side, following the contour of your fingers.
