Gestirn

***Gestirn*** is the German word for star or heavenly body. Combining the Marguerite stich with other stitches creates the appearance of stars and makes a lovely textured cowl to keep your neck warm on cold days. **Tools and Materials:** * 0.75 skein worsted weight or Aran yarn (sample shown used 75 g, 144 m, ¾ of a skein of Malabrigo Rios in Reflecting pool) * 6.00 mm (J/10) crochet hook * tapestry needle and scissors **Sizes:** Small and Large, for a tight or loose-fitting cowl. 52 or 72 cm (20.5 or 28 in) circumference. Size can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of foundation stitches.
