SKILL LEVEL Intermediate FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 10 1/2" / 26.5 cm by 25"/ 63.5 cm rectangle, folded YARN 1 skein SweetGeorgia Merino DK (256 yd / 234 m per 4 oz / 115 g skein; 100% Easy-Care Merino) in Bubble Wand. 1 SweetGeorgia Party of Five Merino DK (five 62 yd / 57 m mini-skeins; 100% Easy-Care Merino) in Picnic in the Park. Use 1 full skein of DK-weight yarn as all the even CC instructions, and use 5 mini-skeins as all the uneven CC instructions. Repeat your favourite minis for CC11, CC12 and CC15. B. Stash dive and use leftover remnants for all CC instructions. C. Use 2 skeins of SweetGeorgia Merino DK; one for the MC instructions and the other for the CC instructions. D. Use 2 skeins of SweetGeorgia Merino DK, in the same colour and ignore all colour change instructions. HOOKS & NOTIONS Size H-8 US / 5 mm crochet hook Adjust hook size as needed to obtain the correct gauge. Tapestry needle GAUGE 20 1/2 sts and 17 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Setup Section, blocked. Please note that changes in gauge will affect yardage and final measurements. PATTERN NOTES This cowl is worked from short side to short side, adding length in between. Stitches are decreased at the two ends by skipping stitches, then the two sloped ends are joined together to create the loop of the cowl. When using another colour that is not to be cut, carry it up along the side.
