Mountain Walk Socks

Sizes: 1 (2) Measurements: Approximately 18 (20) cm foot circumference after blocking. This measurement will depend on how you block and wear your sock, but around 3-6cm of negative ease is recommended. Needles: 2.25mm 80cm or 100cm circular needles for magic loop. The pattern is written with magic loop in mind, but can be adapted to work with DPNs or short circular needles. Gauge: 35-36 sts per 10cm in pattern. Row gauge is less important as each section is knitted to your desired length. Yarn: 1 skein (100g) of your favourite fingering weight sock yarn should be enough for most adult sizes. The sample is knitted in Mondim by Retrosaria. For the most durable socks, however, a sock yarn containing nylon is recommended.
