Pie beret and purse

This is a written pattern for a pie beret and matching pie purse, worked mostly using a 4mm hook. IMPORTANT NOTE: full credit for the pie beret idea goes to designer [Regina Rioux][1]! It seems that she released a set of three “pie-ret” patterns on her blog in 2008, but they are no longer available online. Here is her > [Ravelry post][2] and her [blog post][3]!
