Snappy

It's a snap. Because it's quick to make. It uses chunky yarn or two strands of heavy worsted held together. Because it's easy. Only basic stitches -- double crochet and single crochet. Crochet in the back loop is as fancy as it gets. Because I found a jumbo black snap, which I added to embellish one of the sample hats. A single large button works great, too.
