Simple snowflake

I love quick and sweet crochet patterns like this free Simple Snowflake Pattern. They are so easy and fun to make and yet there is so much you can do with them like stringing them into holiday garlands, hanging them on the Christmas tree, creating cute jewelry and so much more. The white snowflake in the photo is crocheted with cotton thread size 10 and a crochet hook 1,5 mm and it measures 5,5 cm (2 inches) in diameter. I held two embroidery threads (light blue and dark blue) together for the blue snowflake motif and a 2,5 mm hook. This motif measures 7 cm (2,7 inches).
You can change the size of your snowflakes by using different yarn weights and hook sizes. 
You will also need a needle to weave in loose ends and a pair of scissors. Free blocking template is also available here!
