Spur Hat

**SPUR HAT** is knitted with fingering weight yarn in a series of stretchy ribs. Folded brim and brioche pattern make this hat remarkably thick and warm but light in weight. Start knitting round from the brim, change the styles of the ribs toward the top. When about to finish the decrease at the crown, the ribs start to look like SPUR (pronounces Schpuur in German), traces left by ski or sled on snow.
