You make a cowl... a shawl... a tee... and now is the time for a hat! **Heart Warmer Beanie** features all stitch patterns that make it fun and special and I'm sure it will loved by you just as much as its sibling [Heart Warmer Cowl][1]. **Size** One size: to fit 54-56 cm/21-22" circumference. Length from brim to top - about 26 cm/10.25". **Yarn** 1 skein of The Plucky Knitter Single (80% merino, 20% silk; 393m/430y per 100g) or any other single ply fingering weight yarn which gives you the correct gauge. Shown in colorway Bashful. (Note: the yarn is now discontinued but feel free to use any single ply yarn with similar properties for great stitch definition). **Needles** 3.5 mm/US #4 circular needle (40 cm / 16" long) and/or dpns. 3.0 mm/US #2.5 circular needle (40 cm / 16" long) or dpns, or two sizes smaller than gauge needles. 3.75 mm/US #5 circular needle (40 cm / 16" long) or dpns, or one size larger than gauge needles (optional). **Other** stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins. **Gauge** 27 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm / 4" in St st worked in the rnd with main needle, 3.5 mm/US #4 (after wet blocking).
