Magnolia Sweater

I named this pattern Magnolia Sweater because these falling petals remind me of magnolia flowers. I used beautiful Heatherly yarn from Knit Picks, and while it’s 80% acrylic it feels amazing. So soft, so nice to work with. The sweater is worked top down, completely seamless. I think it will be great for both – boys and girls, but of course – it’s up to you **Skill level** - intermediate **Sizes**: **Approx. age** 6-12m 1-2y 3-4y 5-6y 7-8y 9-10y **Chest** 52cm/20 ½ in 60cm/23 ½ in 63cm/24 ¾ in 69cm/27 ¼ in 72cm/28 ¼ in 76cm/30 in Recommended positive ease approx. 4-6cm **Materials** • 540 (600, 690, 810, 900, 1050) m or 590 (656, 754, 885, 984, 1148) yards of any DK weight yarn **Suggested yarns**: Knit Picks (WeCrochet) Heatherly yarn, 80% Acrylic, 20% Merino Wool, 100g (3.6oz) / 300m (328yds), shade V073 (it’s marked as sport weight yarn, but it’s much closer to DK weight yarn) • crochet hook 3.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge **Stitches and abbreviations:** st(s) – stitch(es) ch – chain stitch sc – single crochet dc – double crochet MC – main color sp - space sl st – slip stitch WS – wrong side RS – right side CC – contrasting color ALL MY PATTERNS ARE WRITTEN IN STANDARD AMERICAN TERMS!
