Vest is worked in two lengths. Pattern is written in US Crochet terms, which differ from US terms. Please take the time to note the differences. Gauge: If you are working the 1st, 3rd, or 5th size of the pattern, you will want to use the 3.5 mm hook. All others use a 4.0 mm hook*. Gauge would then be one square = 4.5" (10.5 cm) *Hook requirement states " 4.0 mm/ UK 8/ US F-5". In the US, that would be a G-6. Please check your gauge for best results. You will need 3(3, 4, 4, 4, 4) buttons for the shorter vest and 6 buttons for the longer vest.
