Thermal Beanie

This is a great winter hat. It's worked in two layers at the same time in single crochet, thus creating the thermal single crochet stitch (T-SC). Worked from the top down, you can make it as large or small in circumference as needed and as deep or shallow in height as you'd like. Make it extra long and fold up the brim if you need that extra warmth around your ears. Great gift for those that work outside in regions that have very cold winters. Also great for kids. A hat that will really keep the cold away from tiny ears. This hat coordinates with the Thermal Mitten pattern if you want to make hat & mitt sets.
