First work the back, then the shoulders, then the front. The neckline and edges along the arm openings are knitted in the round using stockinette stitch. Color blocks are knitted simultaneously and seamed using the invisible seam method. For advanced knitters, Intarsia Method can be employed for mid-row color transitions. SIZES XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL Sizes above correspond with the following chest measurements : 78-82 (82-86) 86-94 (94-102) 102-110 (110-118) 118-126 (126-134) 134-142 cm Measure your own chest circumference to determine which size will fit you the best. MEASUREMENTS The Alexa Top is designed to have approx. 15 cm of negative ease measured under armpit. Meaning the fit should be 15 cm smaller in circumference than your actual bust measurements. The measurements are indicated on the diagram on page 6. Photos above: Size XS / 158 cm tall / Chest circumference: 80 cm YARNS AND MATERIALS Approx. 100 (100) 150 (150) 150 (200) 200 (250) 250 (300) g of Organic Soft Merino from KAOS YARN (50g = 225 m) Circular needles 2.5 mm [ 80 cm ] ~ neckline and armhole edges Circular needles 3 mm [ 60 cm and/or 80 cm ] ~ body Tapestry needle GAUGE Post blocked gauge: 28 stitches x 43 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on needle size 3 mm. Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
