Dahlia Cardi

Craft: Crochet Skill: Intermediate Materials: DK weight yarn (amounts listed below), US 7/4.5mm hook (or hook needed to meet gauge), stitch markers The Dahlia Cardi is made up of three panels that are seamed together along the shoulders and the sides. These panels, worked from the bottom up, have increases along the sides that create the “batwing” shape of the final piece. It is the perfect piece for cuddling up on the couch or sitting around the fire during those chilly spring evenings! Measurements in the schematic (see images) are based on the Standard Body Measurement charts provided by the Craft Yarn Council. The bottom full circumference is written with 10-12” of positive ease added to your bust size. The Back Panel Top Width is written with 7-8” of negative ease in reference to the neck-to-wrist measurements listed on the CYC website. *Tips on measuring your wrist-to-wrist length: Measure from the center of your neck down to your wrist while your arm is hanging at an angle toward the ground, not while holding it parallel to the ground - double that measurement and subtract 7-8”.
