Twist Into Shells

This lovely summer top is worked in a 4ply yarn - cake yarns are just fabulous for this to give a beautiful colour transition. It's worked from the top down in one piece and is a "measure as you go" pattern to give you your customised size. Full instructions are given to make it any size you want from 77cm bust up to...whatever you want. The neckline can be left plain if you prefer and you could even lengthen the sleeves if you wanted to, although no instructions are given for doing this. This works up beautifully in any of the very popular cake yarns that are available. The sample size had an actual bust measurement of 135cm and length of 77cm and used just over 1.5 Hobbii Twister Cakes. The tension/gauge for the shell part of the pattern is 24sts & 12.5 rows for 10cm and for the plain dc rows 21sts & 12.5 rows for 10cm.
